My father (bless his soul) is a hardworking and kind man, but due to our poor background he often works long hours. He would be gone for days, sometimes weeks to work on a construction site. He leaves home early and comes home late. I barely speak to him other than saying “hello” or “would you like some food?” He’s always tired and in pain from his stressful job

He’s never sat me down and spoken to me one on one. The only thing he ever taught me was to respect my elders and stay in school. That’s it

I love him dearly, but if I ever have kids, I will make sure to make time for them. I will try to teach them and support them. I don’t want my kids to make the same mistakes as me

i come from a very similar home situation. so i fully get ur view. it's something that frightens me to ever have kids of my own actually as i see our society values providing for our kids more than being (mentally) present. how has attention become supplementary?

idk about the raw milk personally cuz i'd be afraid to expose them to harmful bacteria. however i do think it's good for their immune system to let them play outside and get dirty often (preferably in the country side) because it has been proven to reduce allergies in children.
about milk though, i want my kids to be breast fed 100% for as long as possible

Exposing your kids to "harmfull bacteria" is the way to keep them safe. There are people with salmonella as part of their gut microbiome, but because they are adapted, they not only aren't harmed, but benefit from them.
I have a few experiences proving this, like a friend of my mothers who always drunk raw milk as a git, getting less than a cold from deady tuberculosis, because she got slight exposure as a kid.

idk where u're from but i personally live in a country where most of this stuff would still be possible in the countryside. most people that live in the countryside here are (upper) middle class anyways and there's no ethnics there.

yeah that's why i would encourage my kids to grow up playing outside and with animals etc but i thought raw milk could actually be "too much bacteria" that's why it's being called harmful by doctors while playing outside is recommended

america, ny. graduated from a school full of delinquents. i am aware schools in europe have better funding, stricter standards, better education, way more discipline too. the kids are much brighter there, cleaner, more polished

the less ethnics there are in your school, the more likely your son will succeed not just socially but will reach those milestones that are crucial to his development years. making friends, going to parties, dating, building those memories that shape you.

if he’s surrounded by kids who are motivated, clean, attractive, disciplined, he’ll naturally pick up on those habits and have the opportunities to hit those milestones.

i wouldn’t stress too much over it if the standards are way higher in europe, just make sure you get him into sports at a young age and maybe add in PEDs somewhere in junior high

If I have kids or adopt I will try to make them as NT and as attractive as possible. Obv the kids won’t know I’m raising them to be super NT and attractive but whatever.

I’ll be a lot more involved than my parents were with me. I’ll make sure my child is social asf, does sports, reaches potential height, eats healthy. Upper middle class white/asian neighborhood or rich white neighborhood is optimal.

I’m def giving them a phone around the same time their classmates get one to keep em NT. If a child is attractive and NT all they’ll do with the phone is variations of social media, browsing normal web, watching yt, and getting some dopamine. Most people aren’t so emotionally starved that they end up on websites like this.

It’s a massive mistake to not give your child a phone around the time that everyone else gets one, remember NT = life.
