How to remove surgical scars?

I had abdominal surgery a decade ago, is there anything non-drastic to lighten the scar up or remove it?

Also I have a few surgeries planned, a bit concerned about the scarring

there are a few creams you can pass on the scars to make it blend better with your skin- i actually used some quite ago cause i had severe acne and fucked my skin
idk if its actually useful to deep scars like yours tho

It's a long nasty scar from my chest all the way down to pelvis

For a decade old scar even laser treatment wont have great results,maybe try scar revision. Any fresh scars can be treat with silicone dressings (after the wound is healed) or vaseline (if silicone is too expensive)

Try research hydroquinone, lactic acid peels, kojic acid peels, tca peels (caution if ethnicskin) etc
