What's the trick?

I haven't read his guide, but he says in there bodyweight exercises is key.

I am skinnyfat and did a lot of bodyweight during lockdown last year.

It gained me strength, sure..but it didn't gain me mass.

Pumping iron does that. As a skinnyfat you ideally want to mix that in with some bodyweight exercises.

literally don't eat and do high volume strength training, a skinny fat shouldn't even think of steroids

high protein low calories
simpe -500kcal deficit, 1.8x weight in kgs = protein, 1g x kg fat, rest carbs
until you are slim enough, that's it

He only recommends that for the first phase, because skinnyfats have weaker bones and are more prone to injury.

Why Being Skinny-Fat Is Mainly A Hormonal Problem (Low Testosterone)"

"
On average young men today have just half of the testosterone production of the average young man in the 1940s.

In the 1940s the average young man was walking around with a testosterone production of 900 NG/DL while today the average young man is somewhere around 400-500 NG/DL and most skinny-fats are somewhere around 200-400 NG/DL. (The natural range goes from 300-1100 NG/DL and I personally went from 297 NG/DL to 1105 NG/DL).

This is why it was rare in our grandfathers’ generations to see young skinny-fat guys with man boobs and the strength of a 60 year old woman.

Our testosterone levels have been steadily declining each decade since the 1940s as a result of many factors but here are some of them:

  • Our diets have changed from a natural diet consisting of whole foods high in micronutrients to a diet full of processed foods, soy, refined sugar and minimal in quality seafood, vegetables and fruits.
  • Women are getting pregnant at a later age.
  • The use of pharmaceutical drugs is widespread. Most of them impact hormonal production.
  • Our lifestyles are higher stress with bigger demands from work. Most people are stressed out, sleep late and do not get the required 7-9 hours of sleep. Your sex hormones are produced during sleep.
  • Lack of sunlight. Optimal vitamin D3 and a good circadian rhytm is imperative to maximize natural testosterone production.
  • Less exercise and micronutrient rich foods which leads to worse circulation and issues such as varicocele (veriscose veins in your testicles). 20% of men right now have some degree or varicocele which can impact testosterone production.
Throughout the last 5 years I’ve recommended that my Online Transformation Program clients perform blood work for 8 key hormones including testosterone before starting.

By looking through all their blood tests I’ve found that most of them have a naturally low testosterone production.

Therefore, if you’re skinny-fat there’s a very high chance that you have low testosterone levels as well."

Yeah my best friend in high school was ripped as FUCK, decent mass with defined abs. We’d binge videogames and eat snacks almost daily. Genetics really.

Honestly if you have a chit frame it might be better to go down the road of bloatmaxxing

Get good sleep and fix your diet and lifestyle, dont forget about your magnesium and vitamin d and thats it. But he also said it took him a long time to increase his test to hiss natural average level (1100) it took 3-4 years.

Generally avoid processed foods/junk foods artifical shit and alcohol and foods with high estrogen like milk. Eat greens, meat, eggs etc. You can research what to eat easily.

Went from a faggot to a faggot, should've probably roided.

As someone who used to be fat and successfully leanmaxxed, it's pretty fucking simple:

1 - Do a high protein low carb diet
2 - Exercise every fucking day, do lots of cardio and lift, for at least an hour
3 - Use thermogenics
4 - Don't be retarded (hard part)

That's it, anything besides this is cope

Which isnt bad depending on your goals. He did gain a lot of strength but his muscle definition wasnt great.

Doubt u leanmaxxed on keto, it's great to lose weight till aboout 15-13% body-fat, but I doubt you'll get any lower then you need to go high carb. Or you will look like a twink since you'll be relying on muscle for energy.

quite alot ,thats 2 years, mabe if its 3 months, 6,9 it would have been more logical

If you can't lose weight, don't bother looksmaxing
