im severely doomed i have a terrible dopamine addiction eating doomscrolling gooning u get the idea i need a drug to stop this or some sort of method i cant get anything done i cant ascend nothing just in the house all day doing that shit or at school doing no work until its over WHAT DO I DO?

Firstly, you need to make the connection that it's not laziness you just have ADHD.

Get on ADHD drugs like Elevanse, ritalin, Adderall, etc.

Don't end up a 30 year old loser who wasted his entire life because he was too scared about side effects to use the ADHD drugs.

Man you don’t need drugs n shit. U js need discipline bro. It takes a while and it’s hella hard at the start but block it all. Set up screening and block everything distracting and give the password to someone else. You will this k you need social media. Don’t come up with excuses to keep it. If you have a laptop, you will end up scrolling in there so to stop that purchase the Freedom app and buy the premium version. Just remember that unless you are diagnosed with something, it’s on you to change yourself.

No. Feeling tired doesn’t mean you have ADHD.

If you’re the kind of person who constantly can’t stick to routines - you start a lifting program, quit after a week, start studying, quit again over and over for years, that’s when you need to accept you have ADHD

A lot of people get stuck in this loop of starting and stopping and waste years thinking they’re just lazy, when they’re not. Then you see them at 30 writing long Reddit posts about how they “wasted their life” and “achieved nothing.” and "can't discipline themselves"

If you suffer from this make the realization early and get on the meds. For some people it would’ve completely changed their life trajectory if they’d dealt with it earlier instead of being scared off by side effects.

Btw side effects are cope for most. Go have a read of mental health subreddits. People there been on adderall for decades

Thanks for the long answer. And yeah when I decided to study I usually either study for a bit or maybe not or sometimes yes. But I have been recently so lazy bro like im taking naps through out the day because im literally tired. I couldn't even go to the gym because I was so tired. Is that a sign? Maybe I should check if I have ADHD?

Small, steady progression.

create a habit of discipline, even if it's something very small (like drinking a glass of water when you wake up).

think long term, be patient, and with the previous habit consolidated, progress with it or start the next one. I recommend 10 consecutive days for the next change.

read both David Goggins books when you can.

I have the same problem lol. Even tho I have a girlfriend and could get girls from tinder (literally I only meet girls from online apps) but my favorite things are bedrotting, gaming all day, sleeping and eating and masturbating insane amount of times and watcing porn or having sex with my gf who is kinda fed up with me lol. Im gonna finish university this year but I also barely studied to any class and where I had to study it was an insane struggle and could barely pass the exam coz I didnt give a fuck about it (still dont care about my degree too)

1-) You need dietary supplements, extra protein, good sleep even some grey market research drugs if you have ADHD
all this discipline bullshit is pointless if you dont have enough calories to sustain yourself
If you have money, buy some zinc, magnesium, d3, melatonin and MEAT for protein
You can try amphetamines if it is extreme tho thats another topic

2-) You need something to FORCE you to work, I hate going to university, gym and work all the same but something keeps me stay tuned in, you gotta find that shit in yourself (corny ik but bare with me)
This is not motivation related, it has to be survival

3-) Please yourself during work so you pavlov urself
So what I do basically to lock in is asssociating thing i love with things I hate. Basically I just do high dopamine giving activies during/after study,work or gym sessions, always helps
Strategize porn & junk food addiction the same way, after some work reward yourself
I suggest using cigarette or snus loading

Do not read David goggins or any other copium discipline bullshit, 80% of all output is just diet, your T levels (sleep and food), vitamin levels etc.

For now I suggest ordering L tyrosine, coffe and melatonin to start everything
Take L tyrosine on hungry stomach with coffee, you'll feel more dopaminated


just remember sleep & macros is 80% of everything, rest is negligeble
 
if you are unwillingly lazy then its just a side effect of ADHD. you could try and take some prescription for it to give you a motivational / dopamine boost you are lacking due to being ND, but i am diagnosed and never have. i used to smoke weed and do some tasks i needed and it used to genuinely help but you need to recognize the thin line between emotional dependence and actual benifit from it.

how is that ADHD first of all almost every teen does ts dont mean shit ADHD means hyperactive a disorder that affects you mentally and dopamine addict looking for anything for a hit lmao this seems normal many videos has detox about this which of all he needs to lock in and disciplined himself and set goals discipline
