Tricyclic antidepressants, such as Amitriptyline, often have a dry mouth as a side effect. It's due their action on acetylcholine receptors (them being antegobists of) plus antihistamine. Could barely chew due to very dry mouth when was starting the drug. Don't recommend it, though. For social and performance (in a meaning of public speeches and such), beta blockers, such as Propranolol, help with physical manifestations like wet/shaking hands, excessive sweating, frequent breathing and heartbeat. Propranolol, being a non-selective blocker, helps in mental part as well. But it's no magic tool and has its sides, of course.
