How to train abs?

I usually just dp sit-ups with a plate and some other meme machine exercises but I heard this is bad because it trains obliques and makes your waist look big?
 
No abs for your face, it’s over :(

here's my ab routine.

40 bicycle crunches.
1 minute plank.
1 minute side plank (right)
1 minute side plank (left)
80 mountain climbers.


-----minute or two pause ------


25 raised knee crunches.
15 jack knife situps (these are likely going to be the most difficult and cause the most amount of burn imo)

in this order, 3 times.

25 lying leg raises
15 sec rest
25 lying leg raises
25 crunches slow (breath out and hold flexed at top)
15 crunches fast
1 minute plank

Do this 2 days on, 1 day off.

If you go to a gym and it has a crunch machine with weights, work your way up to 200lbs plates. Then do 10, 20 crunches first. Then 50. Then 100. Then 200 in a row.

You will be surprised at how quickly your body will adapt. You can go from 30lbs to 100lbs plates within a month.
You can increase reps by 20-30 every week.

Getting to low body fat is what matters in revealing abs ("abs are made in the kitchen") but they wont pop out like they do on models, if you don't hypertrophy them and push them hard.

Learn to squat and deadlift. They're heavy compound exercises that'll build your core and legs. Then diet.

wont train your stabilisers this way
 
DO NOT DO EXERCISES THAT WORKS YOUR OBLIQUES!!!
