If you are in Europe take the night travel pill, you can save on accomodation if you take a night train / bus to your destination. You get to sleep + move at the same time for very cheap if you book well

Why 1 day for work?

Not but flight + return was 50€ so I have over 24 hour excluding all the airport fuzz to see a new experience
+ maybe hostel 30€ + some transport + buying beer. If I stay longer the flight wouldn't have been so cheap + the hostels would be more expensive for other days because I go on least busy days. And each night in hostel give me 24 hours more but also cost 40€ so it's not so much cheaper to stay longer. Also factor in if I have stay longer I need more baggage which on flights is expensive af and also eat more consistent meanwhile I could more or less fast if it's too expensive.
