Our ancestors were afraid of death and decided to create religions, the so called God, Allah.

water, but there are some religions that i think were actually created for another purpose.

For example, Islam was created specifically for Arabic tribes to conquer the world. When it was first developed as a concept, a lot of the Arabic tribes were against each other and very much separated. However, with the implementation of God and an afterlife they were able to force a lot of rules that actually benefited them for the conquering of the world (with the fear of living a good or bad afterlife)

Some of the policies of Islam that I feel are specifically targetted for this is to, kill infidels, mate with a lot of women and bear lots of children (so they can spread like cancer essentially), hide women in burqas so they weren't raped or bred by other ethnic tribes, spread the Quran wherever you go, lie (taqiyya) to get what you want, you're allowed to fight and have wars with other tribes except for those similar, etc.

If you actually dissect it, it's pretty obvious that Islam wasn't created out of fear, but used fear as a greater purpose. And, currently, it's working. Muslims are constantly being converted and spread across the entire world.
