As you can see the tendons are attached on laterals of the eye orbit. then if more wide the orbit is more vertically narrow and horizontally wide the eyelids gonna be. You can't fix this

You can lengthen the PFL with a lateral canthoplasty.

Also apparently Dr. Sinn performs an osteotomy that can move the lateral orbital rims laterally:
