hydrocortisone cream on my nose

i have a slightly bulbous nose and i think it’s one of my failos but i’ve taken a good look and i think i just have thick nose skin. can anybody tell me how i can properly apply hydrocortisone cream 0.5% to my nose properly to thin my skin?
