@fattofat help me bhai
Hydroquinone can make skin darker due to rebound pigmentation, skin irritation, or a rare condition called exogenous ochronosis from long-term use

Rebound Hyperpigmentation: Irritation from the cream causes the skin to overproduce melanin, making spots darker than before. Ts happened how to figure it out

Stop using hydroquinone, focus on repairing your skin barrier, use alternatives like azelaic acid for now

Also I should stop every actives till barrier repair

It is possible, that's why you should stop using it, your skin barrier is messed up a bit and since you "abused it" its coming back in high quantities and won't stop till it stabilizes again, so for now you just have to fix it as much as you can with other topicals and slowly fix your skin barrier again

I can't say 100% since its different for everyone but it def sounds like it, and you've used it longer than what most people would

90 days is safe I thought also in last 1 week I used 2 times only I was tapering off

If you were using it ed then tapering off to 2 days a week was probably too fast for your skin

Yeah, I see what you mean, hop off of it if you want the fastest results but if you want to play safe you can still taper down while still using something else to control your melanocytes, and yes you can still achieve that skin again

How to do it can u tell me

For now look into other products such as azelaic acid, kojic acid or thiamidol. And if you really want to do above and beyond you would want to do microneedling as well

Thiamidol safe? How to use it how to figure perfect plan
Also it is hydroquinone side or skin irritation or both

Thiamidol safe?
It's a safer alternative for now

Takes time, wait a couple weeks or so to see how your skin reacts to stopping hydroquinone completely and the product I would recommend the most would be azelaic acid
Also it is hydroquinone side or skin irritation or both
I would say its more on the hydroquinone side but it could very likely be both

Do I need to fix it then next time cycle it again and stop in 2 month

You don't need dermat

We now know how long you can tolerate hydroquinone, so cycle off until you're fine, then use it again. Cycle properly and use alternatives if you need to go for another 80 days

So I will fix my barrier in 1 month
Will hop on azelaic?
Tretnion after barrier repair
After 3 months
Alternate days hydroquinone?
Or I have a guide to use tazarotene with azelaic it is better and give same results?

I'd recommend tretinoin if you want to get back on hydroquionone sooner as taz is stronger and will take a lot longer to get used to and messes with your skin barrier more

I would say your 3 month timeline you mentioned earlier was a really good time to make sure everything is set again. If you are impatient I think 2 months starting from now you can use it again but you really have to be careful with it. But yes I would recommend alternating days.

Yes, I would start using it right away

You'll probably see it again in 5 months from now or so, unless you add other things such as glutathione, azealic acid, and or kojic acid then you'll be seeing it much sooner
