Niggas be like - you have to train harder to build muscle :feelsgood::feelsgood::feelsgood: but then everytime I actually train harder I get to experience a quasi-death experience. :feelswhat:

Today the gym staff was preparing to call an ambulance on me, but after laying on the ground and eating sugar I started getting back to normal.

@Xangsane @aBetterMii @Psychophilly @MaxillaMaxing @St.TikTokcel @emeraldglass ova for my gymmaxxing genes, life wants me to be a twink forever.

You were low on sugar. You should eat something at least 2 hours before you are going to train. And you should know your boundaries when it comes to training, in the beginning just take it easy until you are accustomed to it. Than you can go a little bit harder. Just take your time after a while you will get used to it.

Bro, I have been going to the gym for almost 2 years by now, and I ate a piece of bread before going to the gym.

1 Piece of bread is not enough.
Before training, it's important to fuel your body with the right nutrients to optimize your performance and support your energy levels. Eat this before training:

1. Carbohydrates: Prioritize consuming complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. They provide a steady release of energy and help replenish glycogen stores in your muscles. Examples include oatmeal, whole grain bread, brown rice, sweet potatoes, and bananas. (Not just 1 loaf)

2. Lean Protein: Protein is essential for muscle repair and growth. Include a source of lean protein in your pre-training meal or snack. Good options include chicken breast, turkey, fish, eggs, Greek yogurt, or plant-based sources like tofu or lentils.

3. Healthy Fats: Incorporate some healthy fats into your pre-workout meal for sustained energy. Avocado, nuts, seeds, and olive oil are excellent sources of healthy fats.

4. Hydration: Don't forget to hydrate adequately before your training session. Water should be your go-to choice, but you can also include other hydrating beverages like coconut water or electrolyte drinks.

5. Timing: Aim to eat your pre-training meal or snack about 1-2 hours before your workout. This allows enough time for digestion and ensures that you have sufficient energy during your training session.

Have you been training consistently for almost two years? Or just on and off?

Some potential reasons why you may still feel weak despite your training:

Inadequate Nutrition

Insufficient Training Intensity to build strength, it's important to challenge your muscles PROGRESSIVLY.

Lack of Variation

Training Program and Technique

Inadequate Recovery
