Well that kind of depends. The hair is extracted from the back of the head. Hair on the back of your head is significantly stronger than all of your other hairs. It's meant to last for life.

When you extract perma hair and put it on top, you then have a perma hairline. The only problem is, you can lose hair behind the transplanted hair.
