Not that I claim to be an intellectual, nor have I ever mentioned my IQ besides one time a user asked me, but I need to read books in order to articulate and follow intellectually stimulating conversations that some women seem to be interested in.
Imagine being a quite attractive guy that cannot even understand simple sentences or write properly when necessary. That might be a huge turn-off for some women, unless the guy in question is a Gigachad, which none of us are, so we need to compensate for it with our intellect and behavior.
