this cuck isn't even mentioning anything new.
Hair > Skin, if the hairloss is bad enough

I actually tried oral minoxidil 10 mg twice a day, along with propranolol. Probably the most effective thing for hair regrowth, I got regrowth on temples, eyebrows, arm hair etc (basically everywhere). Gives you an extremely bloated look, and im pretty sure it was fucking up my collagen too since studies prove it. Insane hair regrowth tho, you lose all gains if you stop taking. didn't notice a shedding phase.

SuiFuel, I was considering taking it for my hairloss disease. I guess I'll hold out in it.

Btw he gets into the interesting stuff at the end

I only know about Male Pattern Baldness (androgenic alopecia), if yall need help with that I know pretty much everything about it.

It's called PCIA, he said minoxidil and lasers may help. He also said that some chemo drugs can permenantly destroy stem follicles.

He basically said it's over for you buddy boyo

Can you ask about etoposide specifically because th one that destroy stem cells permanently are taxane drugs not the one I took.
Are the stem cells there and dormant or are they dead?

He went over the breast cancer drug causing stem cell death, and he noted that there are other ones that do the same thing but are not documented in the literature.

He said that if the folliciles are still alive, minox and lasers can help. Not much else can be done he said

Yea taxanes are breast cancer ones
The only literature I’ve seen are on those ones too but description wise they don’t match because they cause continuous loss, breakage of roots and shedding whereas mine are just thin with no shedding.
Already on lasers and minox tbh seen results but not much I might add oral minox with it too idk

Topical + oral it’s double or nothing I guess

If you got hair loss from cancer, why don't you just wear a realistic hair system? if anyone calls you out you can just tell them u had chemo and they will look like the asshole. Sympathy-maxing, guarantee some foid will accept u for who u are lol

Your premise of "making them look like an asshole" is beyond retarded.

Just curiosity.

Why did he say oral minox is better though? And what type of body reaction should you expect?

@Deliciadecu thoughts on oral minox? It's more effective than topical + dermapen?

Do you think this can lead to any potential bloat/ loss of collagen?

@98Zdeed98 could you post those studies?

It seems that it's more effective, from what I've heard. I don't think it's more effective than topical + microneedling though

Dunno about bloating tbh

Oral Minox should not be used for MPB, only for more rare advanced hairloss diseases. There were actually no side effect that passed above 10% of people

Im probably the only user who has actually gone on oral minoxidil (lonitab) so i'll share my experiences. This post will be kinda long, but I can go into even further depth if you want. Keep in mind this was 2+ years ago and I was on it for 6-7 months.

When u take oral minoxidil you commonly a diuretic with it. The bloat comes from the fluid retention. Closely monitor blood pressure when taking, too low blood pressure and you can have problems. Oral minoxidil also interacts with many drugs, so watch out for that as well. Low blood pressure also results in clammy, pale skin. Generally low doses of minoxidil are well tolerated, and most people are respondent ( I was 100% respondent, and yes it is a bit extreme for AA but I wanted to explore all options). Also keep in mind that the drug has the profile of a drug that you can develop tolerance for (loses efficacy over time) , therefore doses are usually incremented over long term periods. Drug has shorter half life which is why u should split doses in two times of the day.

Does it work and is it stronger than topical? Yes, studies prove it and I personally found it be VERY strong. I was on it for a period of 6-7 months, as for why I stopped there are many reasons. I noticed tons of vellus hair where there wasn't any. Im pretty sure If I stayed on it I could have been NW0 and grown a lot of terminal hair as well. When you stop do u lose what you gained? Very possible especially if they were vellus hairs since the drug is a vasodilator and ur creating an artificial supply.

Can you ever achieve permanent gains with oral minoxidil? I think (a bit of a theory tho inducing capillary growth via prp growth factors and microneedling along with endothelial growth factors minoxidil itself produces), but ofc follicle would need to reach terminal stage. We see this in facial hair, but obviously you would need stop underlying hair loss cause.

collagen loss: I have no way of fully proving this, so take my anecdote and the studies I post with a grain of salt. I might have come off as fear mongering when quickly replying to this thread and it has been a while since I was on oral minox. Anyways, does oral minox decrease collagen? Possibly here are a few studies. Keep in mind these studies are not in vivo. There exists no such study where skin was monitored in patients who took oral minoxidil. Aside from this minoxidl has multiple mechanism of actions, its still not fully understood why minox causes hair growth itself, which shows minoxidil is not a fully understood drug. my personal experience when I was on it was that I did feel a slight decrease in skin quality and even had hollow eye area as well. I could have just been worrying to much, and im not sure if minox was entirely responsible

more studies show that minox decreases TGF-beta 1, which is a potent stimulator of collagen secretion by fibroblasts. could be a good or bad thing for balding, not sure how it will impact overall skin quality.

Im not going to say this means minox decreases skin quality or accelerates skin aging, but it is possible. The reason why i stopped even though i had made good gains was primarily because i still exploring other options for hair loss. Also oral minox was struggle all things considered. It didn't seem like a long term solution to the problem tbh and it was bit expensive as well for me at the time. I stabilized my hair loss with fin, i made the swtich to dut around the same time I was on oral minox. After being on dut from two years, my hairloss has stablized and I started at nw2 and got regrowth to nw1-0.5ish. I think I still got some regrowth left, and I haven't explored microneedling, prp, oral castor oil (pge2 maxxing) if that doesn't bump me to nw0 i might consider hairline transplant and hairline lowering.

Anyways, its up to u whether to take oral minox. Tbh i would love to see other give the drug a try and hopefully not see decline in skin quality as well as somehow achieve permanent terminal hairs.

Do you still have AA? Alopeica areata? Have you tried/used tofacitinib?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant AA as in androgenic alopecia.
