Where's the injustice in the difference of physical attributes? It's all about a test, and God tests us differenctly. In fact i'll argue it's harder for a man who "has it all" as you may say, to act good than to a poor one to act good.

In the eyes of God, we'r all equal, despite our contingent physical differences, the sole difference between us is linked to our degree of piety.

You have an idealistic way of looking at the world. You are looking at the world how it should be, how you would like it to be. Great, i'll only give you few arguments.
Keep in mind, atheistic people claim metaphysically that God doesn't exist. It's a bold claim, and they have nothing to prove it.
I'll then need to tell you that NOTHING in this world is certain DUE to the very essence of humans and of the earth and overall creation. Because we can't actually totally prove it.
Explains also why Science is a belief.
In different ways :
- metaphysically in its premisses, it says that Only materiality exists. Not because it's actually all that exist, but because science can only works on materiality and on nothing else, so it's auto-justification. It's like me saying only black crow exist because i only know black ones - which is factually false because whites ones exist too. Funily enough, it's because of the rationality and consistency of this world, that science exist, and not the other way around : It's because this world isn't absurd rationally wise, that we can do science, and this is also a non proved premisse - that this world is rational, it is but it's not proven why.
- in its methology, it rely on two things : Either induction, but issue of it is that science do prediction about it, while it's rationalistically impossible and means it's a belief, because you'll have to know EVERY situation/experiement/sample EVERYTHING, EVERYTIME, FOREVER. It's not possible, i suggest you to read more about the white crow contradiction. ; Or in deduction, and deduction rely on axiom, that by definition aren't meant to be proven nor can be, so it's also a belief. Not even the evolution of science is "addition", but rather contradiction and opposition, seee Thomas Kuhn work in that regard.

Even the theory of causality isn't proven - that the sun will wake up every morning etc - so what to do ?

Rely on probabilities; How? When a claim is more probable than the other, we have to follow it.

So, about existence of God or non existence : What do atheism bring up to prove he doesn't exist ? Nothing.
Let me give you few things :
- The least probabilistic event to happen ever, is the creation of this universe. Even back in time machines are more probable to happen yet didn't happened. Not only that but, the maintaining of the constances and variables SINCE SO long are even more rare to obtain, yet it is still there, and explains why we'r alive. And these constants and variables are the condition of possibility of the existence of science and rationality. And can be explained well by the Idea that God loves us, and didn't wanted to create an absurd world where we would only suffer without beeing able to understand anything. Funnily enough one of the first rule of thermodynamics says that the less control you are over something the more it will be chaotic. Nothing was less controlled than the creation of the Universe, yet nothing is more incredible and harmonious.
- The argument of the contingency. Nothing can rationaly be opposed to it, and everything can be seen as contingent, beside the existence of the necessary beeing.

And what can explain the creation of something where you have nothing to gain from? It's only a gift by definition, and it's because of God's love to us, that he created this whole universe.
