The issue is that half the places don't do 3D scans and the other half don't accept referrals from foreign doctors. If your PCP won't give you a referral for the same thing, you're fucked, and you're even more fucked if you're trying to avoid paying $1000 to some faggot hospital.

Even back when I was just trying to get a basic CBCT these facilities were such huge faggots about everything, like super skeptical about why I needed a scan, not calling me back, can't give me price estimate without CPT code but then no CPT code exists for CBCT scan, Kafkaesque shit. I eventually got one at an ortho and then they just wouldn't send me the scan.

Dude, literally since making that post, I sat waiting for them to pick up for like 20 minutes, left a message, they call back, the phone rings twice, I pick up, and they hang up and don't call back and now the place is closed for the weekend.

Same shit happened to me and my Ortho also refused to give me the intraoral scans with some bullshit excuse that they can't be exported even though I worked as a tech with the same software and intraoral scanner he uses and told him how to export a scan, then they just stopped responding kek.
