I can’t get drunk when things are going good for me

I can’t get drunk when I’m happy and things are going good for me and my girlfriend.

I only get drunk when she argues with me or we have a falling out. That’s when I drink and get drunk.

It doesn’t feel good to be drunk when I’m happy. I need to be drunk when I’m sad and angry
