It gives you another perspective on life that you can't imagine right now even if you try your best. It's not really about how you do it, it's about how consistent you are. Meditation is like working out but with only upsides unlike working out. The way I do it is I hold my fingers in a specific position (any of your choice) and focus on my breathing. Doing those two simultaneously will usually not allow you to be able to let your mind wander and have random thoughts, which essentially gives your brain a break. If at any moment you manage to think about random things, that usually means either your fingers/hands have now slowly fallen down or you stopped focusing on your breathing. After a while, you get used to it and you simply exist, not thinking about anything. When done, you will feel extremely fresh. When done consistently over months, you will ascend mentally and physically. It truly is like magic.
