i never feel like I am part of anything.

I have worked at the tomato-factory for 3 years, yet have made 0 friends there, people you meet outside of work or even interact with in a meaningful way at work.
I am not anti-social in that I do make small-talk with people, I don't hide, I greet people, etc. But it all just remains this shallow bullshit and I feel like I am an outsider here.

Kinda similar how i felt in high-school where I was bullied, or at home where I was abused.

fuck this life man. Humans aren't supposed to feel this out of place, we are tribal animals.

I wish I had their brainwashing. I would probably be happier.

The narrative doesn't work if ur highIQ, u reject it, and as a result become estranged from society.

nah pet is a big responsibility especially dogs.
don't get a dog only cos you feel lonely. i always got animals but indirectly, they just happend to be given to my mother or random events. i had to take my current dog away from my mother because this nigger wasnt even washing the dog. bastard was dirty and was eating shit given by her.

people really act like 5 YOs when it come to animals without understanding how to take care of one.

anyway i feel the same about your post :feelswhy:

yeah this is exactly why I have avoided taking a pet even though I could. I don't think it would fit my current turbulent personality and then it wouldn't be taken care of properly.

Also I have no friends/family so say I go on a holiday I'd have to bring it to some expensive dog shelter or something, over tbh.

Because people at this age have shit together, they have a family at home, kids, partner, parents, rest of extended family, friends since college/high school/from around their home/their community, so they have a lot of responsibility and already a shit ton of shit going on in their lives outside of work

So they can't really care about a random faggot who's never managed to do anything better with his life than work in a tomato factory..

They'll be polite, they'll probably say hello and ask how you're doing sometimes, but that's about it..

Work is not a good place to make ‘'friends’' if not all of you are kinda in the same age demographics, don't share common interests, and don't have relatively much time outside of work that you could invest in common activities..

Humans aren't supposed to feel this out of place

They just want to finish their shift and go home, so they prefer to channel their energy for what's going to happen there after..

Yeah I guess working mcdonalds does have its benefits but you need the vibe to take advantage of that tbh.

You can still get opportunities with JB by becoming a high-school teacher always though.

idk, not in the netherlands at least.

ive had teachers at my high-school have relationships with JBs. The teacher would be fired when found out, but there were no criminal consequences and the relationship would go on.
I think if you don't actually fuck the JB, but are just dating her, it's basically -legal- here. So the school may fire you as it being 'inapprioriate' but you are not breaking any laws.

I mean you are giving a hyperbole but yes you are largely right.
But then I have no clue where else you find meaningfull social connection honestly.

It feels sad to say, but I've had my best results through dating-apps. The effort isn't worth it and I don't recommend it, but u can get lucky every once in a while.

This, this so fucking much.
I am yet to internalize this, but I realize that humans have 'intrinsic value' which is largely coupled to their looks. And this is the most important aspect of life.
Everything else you do just largely changes the environment you operate in, but your value remains the same.

You could be a STEMcel, you could be this hard-working business guy, you could be a hippie, it's largely the same in essence overall in life-experience. Even if 'society' looks down on the other or not, it's irrelevant on a personal level.

And with this in mind honestly, fuck my life for going on the STEMcel route (thanks parents).

I have a pretty creative mind and spirit, the artsy way of life, hippie life, would've suited me.
I don't mind living close to poverty it's what I grew up with anyways.

I srsly need to consider a complete 180 degree turn in my life going from physics-nerd to artsy dude. ngl.

I am too far gone from normal-society due to my past.
I would need to meet a very specific childhood-abuse victim in some place where child-hood abuse victims never come.

I consume alcohol on a daily basis.
MDMA,2CB,Ketamine,Mephedrone on a weekly basis.
Shrooms and Cocaine on a monthly basis.

I think that's 95% of my drugs-usage, sometimes I try new stuff but it's very irregular. Like trying out LSD or GHB one time.

Also what I mean -on a weekly basis- is I do one of those at least weekly. It's not like I do all of those weekly. I rotate.

That's definitely not nice longer term. Seen alcoholics since childhood and while one may argue about the chicken and egg problem in this, I think it's both. People who are prone to depression and melancholy may be more prone to alcoholism, and it then in turn makes them even more prone, vicious cycle. Alcohol is probably the most meh tier drug.
whats ur problem with that?
It shows that you are capable of having some fun or at least functioning in terms of social interactions and making plans, not a total lost cause.

MDMA, Methedrone
Pretty euphoric stuff.
My friend used to do MDMA every weekend or so and recommended it for socialization, well, until he raped his serotonin receptors accumulated the comedown and was depressed for quite a long time.

Alcohol abuse is an issue in my life right now, but like you say, it's a consequence of having a shit-life.
I need to find a way out of this shit-life someway so that I don't need alcohol.

Yeah I agree alcohl is shit-tier drug but somehow the most easiest to cope with in life due to how easy it is to get and how socially accepted it is.

True. I am not a total lost-cause in that sense.
But don't believe I escape my depression during these times. It's effectively a distraction, not a passion. It's a difference, it's forced.

Did you try it?

MDMA every weekend is intense usage. It should be an indicator of a troubled mind, mental-issues.
A MDMA comedown doesn't last more than a few days neurologically.

Your friend likely had mental-issues before he started using MDMA so intensely and this eventually came crashing down on him.
Some sort of trauma or personality-disorder. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the MDMA actually helped him with this crashing-down.

Whereby he at some point realized that: 'this lifestyle can't go on, this is not good for me, I need to change.' - while being high on MDMA.
Because MDMA is not the type of drug you get addicted to, it doesn't have addictive properties on it's own.k
He just had a shit life.

I think one may get addicted to it psychologically, to it's effects. Not the physical addition like nicotine.

Did you try it?
No, I have adhd and usually try to find something functional rather than recreational, but too high inhib to rely on illegal stuff (prison time here us though, even for consumption) so I rely on whatever is legal/grey zone nootropics and stuff.

Yes, this could be possible. So it's more that this person is addicted to getting some sort of feeling out of a night's out and uses MDMA to try and achieve this (among alcohol/nicotine probably too). So it's that feeling that he chases, not the drug, basically. And with MDMA this is disconnected.
Like I can do MDMA 2 days in a row, but the second day I won't feel shit. There's no point.

Hmm yeah but functional and recreational cross eachother at some point dont they, it has to.

Hmm yeah if it's hard legally then I wouldn't use it as easily either. Where do you live?
Here in the netherlands they only go after dealers, not after consumers. So I am unbothered.

Alcohol daily will really fk ur liver and cancer risk + make u feel like shit none stop. Id try and get some kratom if u cant manage without a drug. Its better to not use that either because its addictive but if u have to use something go kratom or weed.

Kratom actually felt way better to me than alcohol as well plus no hangover and doesnt dehydrate/give shitty feeling to same extent. But with long term use u cn get withdrawals so gotta taper. Its more fickle to use though. U need to be totally empty stomach or you will get no effects. So first thing when wake up or when having not eaten for 6 hours.

I dislike weed. Never tried kratom.

I should just use less alcohol and replace it with a disciplined dosage of ketamine I think.

Try kratom trust me you will not regret it. But like I said you get 0 effects unless emtpy stomach and start dose at 5mg or so (u can then take a bit more after 30 mins if u dont feel anything yet). U get opiate high at higher doses I got to on empty 10g-25g and relaxes u plus u get an anti depressant effect all day. Also way way more mild on the organs. No hangover from it unless you build dependance using for months straight in high doses everyday.

Alcohol without breaks is very bad for every part of the body because of blood pressure increase, cholesterol increase, nerve damage, nutrient deficiencys, gastoinsetinal issues, bunch of in increased cancer risk (especially bowel cancer which is more common in young people these days with sedentary lifestyle). Plus obiviously liver issues. The liver needs breaks from being under heavy load to recover and it cant do that with daily drinking.

Where do you live?
Russia.
Ofc there is a market and there are sellers and customers.
I personally have a bad experience with police (was mistaken for a looklike criminal once and spent some time without phone calls, water and toilet, was charged with covid quarantine rules breach when they realised I wasn't the person they looked for, just so they wouldn't feel like they wasted time on me) so I try to avoid messing around with them.
Some of the people I know order various drugs via Internet and get it to fake post address (bought from some homeless dude) or get GPS coordinates of hidden packages in trees, brick walls of random buildings and such, sneaking it at night, but it's all risky every time. Getting drugs from person to person is much rather.
Adderall, Methylphenidate, Modafinil and Bupropion are illegal here, the only way to get them legally (not Adderall, it's fully illegal AFAIK) is to fly abroad, get a prescription and buy a month or 2 supply of it, and bring it with yourself through customs, by showing them translated verified prescription. Some people do it, fkying to Turkey for that specific purpose but it's expensive and mundane.
Strattera and Guanfacine are legal adhd drugs here but ofc they are meh and personally, Strattera had too many side effects for me.

Hmm yeah I get your position. I wouldn't fuck around with drugs if it was that bad with government/police.

I have full access here in the netherlands to basically any drug that exists. And the government provides free anonymous testing services too. Like I order cocaine from the darkweb, I bring a small amount to a government testing agency and they tell me how pure it is and if there's any bad stuff in it.

So for me I just need to find what is the best/healthiest shit there is in my situation ngl. Doing alcohol is kinda retarded I suppose.
