Title. I don't understand why niggas are hating on so much. I'm clearly in minority who thinks steam machine is cool as hell And whenever I try to argue people bring up price or performance when that was never the point. I guess people fell for marketing and loft claims made by valve themselves but even Valve agrees it's a bit overpriced

No normie is buying steam machine for 1050$. When you have PS5 for way less or pro even that runs GTA 6 Day One. The Timing also pricing is worst part of Steam Machine. Feel free to disagree tbh

Its actually just a general vent about hardware prices going through the roof, being let out on the new product on the market. Steam isnt big enough to bend the market to its will so it will price itself accordingly. But its a fact that gamers are a small subset of the hardware market, and they dont like it because they were used to 1080 Ti tier graphics card with the low prices. They must accept that things are only going to get worse

I think it's mainly the pricing and timing that is shit for steam machine. By itself it's a very solid machine

The price is not adequate to its real worth, but still, I don't think it's trash.
On the contrary, I think it's really a somewhat good substitute for people who already have a steam library and don't own a good PC

Because they expected it to be cheaper. But it is a fair price looking at the RAM prices
