JFL if you're still growing
Even if you're not, JFL; enjoy the permanent side effects of vitamin A poisoning.

Sauce: Took accutane and I'm one amongst many people that got fucked from this drug

They are the same ffs
They're not the same. Two slightly different forms of vitamin A derivatives, but more importantly one has a systemic action on every cell in your body while the other one is topical and affects tissue locally.

Prolly going to take it for 3 months tops tbh

And how does it effect growth
high doses of vitamin a and derivatives can cause premature growth plate closure and deformities
IIRC the only time accutane has conclusively been linked to growth plate closure in a person was when they were taking extremely high doses of over 100mg daily, if it's something that concerns you then try other options tbh, with accutane you are in a way giving youself a managed form of vitamin a toxicity

they are both available in gels, so topical

Also, do you think isotretinoin is as bad as accutane regarding the sides?

I don't recommend it to anyone, and I mean this sincerely from the heart. If you're not gonna listen and take it anyway, don't go above 20mg, but try to stick to 5 or 10mg. Trust me it's enough when combined with other treatments.

Legit my response

"Accutane may stop long bone growth in teenagers who are still growing."

"No one knows if taking Accutane for acne will reduce bone healing or stunt growth."

This is fda and not some aspie psl scientist bs

are u manlet?

I have dealt with bad acne and been on antibiotics for years now but I still wanna avoid accutane tbh the side effects are ridiculous in some cases

rip your liver

Reminder what my hair looks like 3 months after accutane. Permenant. Not growing back. You are making a big mistake in the name of "Low inhib"

I asked a derm about it and said better not touch it, i rather just use topicals if needed. For some people i guess its worthed, it basically dries up all your sebaceous glands around your body.

how old are you?

i heard it affects growth. take it later?
you heard. Well I heard that the Accutane stunts growth talk is bullshit. Study of hundreds only had about three getting their growth plates closed immaturely. The study was based on a large dosage over a very long period of time. Meanwhile I’m only taking pharma grade Isotretinoin 20~10mg/d for 4 months max and drinking a lot of water. Phags here coping cuz they cannot get their hands on this magical drug, it’s very hard to get prescribed Isotretinoin or get it from bitcoin cat piss websites.

idk everyone i know got prescribed Accutane very easy. also if it was hard to get shouldn't that be a red flag on why doctors don't prescribe it?

I agree it seems like a red flag but Accutane is proven to be the best skincare dug out there. Some say Hollywood celebrities micro dose Isotretinoin to get perfect skin. Again I might be wrong, but I’m low inhib on this one. I will be a lab rat for the sake of this forum and will make an update soon.

ok commie bro :feelspanties:

You should try 5 MG AND report back with results after a month, i was thinking daily liver could have the same effect but theres a physical límit on how much vitamin a you can get by food alone

Another think that i thought Is megadosing vitamin d as se know vitamin d Is necessary AND antagonist with vitamin a, so side effects might lessen with vitamin d supplementation
