I can probably just ask for tret instead if adapelene doesn't work from the derm instead of buying it

It's good to start as it's softer. Then you'll just have to switch

ive tried both and adapalene is so much more comfy. No flaky skin after using it, no irritation.

And: "Adapalene 0.3% gel showed non-inferior efficacy to tretinoin 0.05% cream"

But in theory (and probably in practice, too) Tretinoin works deeper inside the skin than adapalene.

I've already had tret at the most minimal dose. He just switched it out for adapelene at a higher dose

It's at 0.1% for me, he's giving it alongside 2.5% benzyl peroxide
