Brown women hate brown men and hate it even more seeing them try to improve. I feel no inherent sense of hatred towards white brits for ruling over South Asians for a century (I use to back in my nationalistic phase when I was a teen, because I felt like it was my "duty" to do so as a south asian myself). But now that I've grown up and become more chill and aware about history, I don't feel a fucking thing lmao. The past 3000 years of south asian history is literally nothing more than one tribe, kingdom, empire etc etc trying to fuck over their own neighbor, and trying to take them over for their own power and force their culture on the other. The brits were just another player in the "south asian game of thrones" (what I call it) that just happened to come from outside of the subcontinent.
