You are correct in saying that people earning that much will be able to live a good life, if you want to base your stance from ‘rich people are okay so capitalism is good’ then you need to broaden your thinking

The people who ‘earn’ the most in a capitalist society are not those contributing to society - in fact they make society worse for the vast majority.

Capitalism is based upon profiteering - it views employees as an expense and therefore leaves many in poverty as their jobs are seen as ‘unskilled’ meaning their lives are borderline not worth living because their employer pays them as little as possible to reap as many profits possible from their work to redistribute back to themselves and their shareholders who most likely haven’t even had to lift a finger.

Another main issue with capitalism is the fact human beings aren’t able to exercise their own humanity. Even if someone becomes a lawyer, doctor, engineer - any high paying job that requires a qualification, it doesn’t matter really, once they have that qualification, sure they’ll make good money but they are forever trapped in their career whether they hate it or not. They have no autonomy over themselves as they are bound by bills, insurance, rent, mortgages etc all set by the bourgeoise - once again - extracting as much wealth as humanly possible from the people who actually make an impact on society purely because they own the deed to the factory.

What do you suggest? Capitalism is fair because it rewards people who play the system well. I saw your point about employees earlier, and unfortunately if you aren't a high level employee or in a specialized area of work it is true that you are basically exploited. But that just shows how fair the system is: if you're stuck as a low level employee and working low wages, you failed to play the system correctly (such as improper education) and these are the consequences you'll have to face. Meanwhile, people who succeed in capitalism have gamed the system perfectly and have taken significant amounts of risk and effort to be where they are.

Yes they can live a good life - however without ownership they are permanently trapped in a job they may hate with no real free will whilst those who inherited massive family trusts will sit there doing nothing and rake in rent from even those who earn a lot of money without doing anything.

You can take as much risk as you want - be the most intelligent person to walk the earth and you may not get lucky enough to have a successful business, the likelihood that the business makes you a billionaire is near enough 0 - you will never ever be like those who’s next 50 generations could live lives of incomprehensible luxury without ever having to work a day in their lives no matter how hard you work, no matter how much you ‘game the system’

That is my point. Capitalism does NOT reward hard work - it rewards those who own the most things and degrade others as much as humanly possible in the name of profit.
