I come from a decently comfortable family, I lived in a good area, went to a good school where most students get amazing grades
and got accepted into an elite university (most people in this thread would have heard of it). Mind you, I've only really had 1 black friend during most hs and he's just like me (well-spoken, good family, at another elite university) so when I came to uni I really wanted to make black friends.

The affirmative action kids would call me whitewashed as a joke to my face at parties cause I never used slang, didn't wear streetwear (admittedly it was light teasing but it kinda hit an insecurity of mine at the time - so it would trigger me), I've seen them steal and generally make us look bad by not being considerate of their environment (majority of my uni is privately educated and extremely privileged (e.g. aristocracy/children of politicians/billionaires)).

Funnily enough the black international students (rich kids from Africa) were never like this, its more a class thing IMO. Poor people in general are classless/tactless and that extends to races that are predominately poor.
