It's been over a year and it still haunts me daily , watching my old photos with my already harmonious , natural chin makes me cry everytime. Genio made my chin asymmetric , narrow and with step off. Now all i care about is roping.

whyd you get it then

life is brutal brother. Cant you reverse it?

Genio is so overrated for minor to moderate recession. It’s high risk low reward and virtually nothing filler can’t simply replicate for such cases

ye unless you have ur chin sloping backwards not worth and jews surgeons should refuse to operate on you but all they care is about money

This is why I tell fags to not get genio unless their chin is severely recessed and any amount of improvement would help:lul:.

100% , filler mogs 99% of the times for moderate to slight recession , also chin projection barely matters it's all about mandible projection

sry you went through that bimax and genio are such memes surgery unless you reallyyy really need it but irl no one overanalyze how recessed your chin or mandible is excepted psl autist. it's all abourt harmony rly

I'm getting a Lefort 1 and I don't "really really" need it. My underbite is moderate, the scans prove it, but I could live without it. I'm still getting it. If you are like clav who has above average jaw development, then yeah bimax will be low ROI for you most likely.

The "really really need it" part is a cope. If you are recessed, you will 100% benefit from it.

Agreed, most gl guys just have a combo of okayish jaws development and good eyes. You don't need barret bones and top tier forward growth to look good.

i mean if you are a good candidate with a compact midface from a frontal view why not but if you're facial ratio are slightly off from a front view i wouldnt gamble with a lefort 1 just to improve the side profile tbh. i'v yet to see a before and after pic of someone getting better looking from the front after a lefort 1 . side profile will look goated tho as always.

if i was compact i will sure do it tho to get a crazy nice side profile

Lefort 1 balances out your CPR. I have a longer face from the front, and a chin that is a bit too tall (classic class 3 look).

Lefort 1 can make your front look better by balancing out your ratios, a recessed maxilla makes your chin look longer than it is.

I've seen plenty of frontal ascensions from lefort 1, but it's usually with people who have the classic class 3 look.

And yes I agree, some people's frontal doesn't change too much, though side profile also influences your 3/4 view which will also improve after your lefort 1.

i agree about the side profile and 3/4 obviously its the best surgeries there is but i disagree about the " it will balance your ratio " argument and make you automatically better looking .
i am lacking chin height but got a long philtrum and midface so getting a lefort 1 even with with some type of impaction will make my overall face even longer and even if in term of ratio it will be more balanced the overall result from the front will look too long and for people with long midface i've seen countless of case where it just look grotesque and just wayyy too long of a face even if the ratio are now more balanced .

i was browsing dr loncle ig page rn and i keep seeing that issue on longer midface patient that got djs . they all look great from the side and 3/4 but from the front its off . but again everyone is different you probably got better starting ratio than mine so you will be good

I've heard the "longer front profile" argument before too, but tbh I've seen big big lefort 1 movements where the midface height barely changed. Only the perceived philtrum length got a very tad bit longer because the nose got more upturned.

You can tell that her movements were large, yet her midface barely looks longer post op. Her midface also looks fuller and more aesthetic.
And yes she is wearing makeup on the after so it's a bit frauded but still, you get my point.

All the longer midface post op cases I've seen are usually from downgrafting.
