My dog died almost 2 years ago. He lived with me since I was 10 years old. I cried alot and buried him personally. I still miss him
When I found out my last black and white cat died, I cried like a fucking bitch 22 years old. No shame. Sometimes when i think about him i want to tear up but I hold it back. The only thing I'll cry over is a death of a pet and a family member. Catch me crying over some fucking girl. Yeah right. No heartbreak compares to that.

I never want a dog tbh. After his death I realized no dog would replace him and I want him to be my only pet till death. Loyalty or nothing. But my fam got a dog that I don't interact or see. She lives in one room with my sibling. While my dog that died was my best friend. We used to be so close he used to understand commands from my facial movement and eyebrows. I miss him alot

I unironically think pets are bad for humans. They live too short and it will give you alot of stress and pain when they die. Average dog lives 9-15 years max while ppl live 70-90 on average where I'm from
