i just went to a local clinic and the surgeon told me he can fix it easily by getting rid of a little of the tissue and realigning the septum and nose opening, it's a free procedure because of muh welfare state but i'm unsure whether i should get it done by an more well reputated plastic surgeon instead and just pay a few thousand on top.

paying a few thousand euro isn't worth it. It's more of a functional operation than something cosmetic.

It's a simple procedure just get it done

I don’t see the point in paying extra unless you are needing rhino.

deviated septums are so uncomfortable

Just one question OP, do you experience speech issues as well as a result of having a deviated septum ? Like you feel you are running out of breath when you speak.

i always had some speech issues but i never attributed them to my deviated septum, but it might actually be the root cause. I def have breathing problems and the slightest physical activity immediately forces me to mouthbreath.

Public healthcare surgeons, or doctors, are pretty good, because working for the public is always better (more holydays, better pays, can't be fired).

I also have a deviated septum, if I ever get fixed I will pay the extra for rhino

It definitely has something to do with the nasal deviation.

Yes losing wait will help for sure but for the most part the real problem is the deviated septum.
