I maybe a rotter on an obscure forum with 80k posts but I've spent years deliberately learning how to read rooms, spot opportunities, and build real connections IRL. It's a skill like any other I know my way around navigating social situations
to make connections that are useful to me.

Over the years I've collected mentors who have taught me a lot of stuff and people in positions in power who have opened doors for me, high level professionals who now reply to my DMs in < 2 hours,a lot of friends are in various sectors who are doing very well in life. I don't meet these people everyday but I do know that I count on them and they can on me.

Being from a good uni helps for sure but it was all intentional networking. A little bit of smooth talking, adding value, and nurturing those ties that's all it took. If you want access to better circles, start treating relationships like the high leverage asset they are.

How exactly did you connect with them and find the right people to do so in uni?

The forum is actually a good tool because thereโ€™s so much shit to talk about you learn what to say in different situations like realistically you can talk way more on this forum than with people you know

Clubs/chapters especially those specialized ones around something are the best. You can avoid small talk. Conversations happen naturally around the activity. I would avoid large parties tho. I used to be a party goer myself and they are fun to go to buy not very useful all the degenerate nighas I know I met in there

Can't do the same at a public uni in the slums of Europe :lul:
I wish I went to one of these business schools with people who's fathers are the moguls of the finance world.

Yeah I have no idea how to enter tho, looking for a masters currently, it's probably either incredibly hard exams to pass or just have the contacts and/or money lol

The reason why i succeeded is because Iโ€™ve trialed numerous time with almost everything u can think of It started with joining Tateโ€™s hustler university i didnโ€™t learn jack shit about money-making from there but Iโ€™ve made a lot of connections that I still know, in addition to that Iโ€™m a really outgoing person (i even connect with wastemans if i felt like it) so combine that with the building blocks my dad has built for me from traveling a lot = kingmaker connections

TLDR:
I got into hustlerโ€™s uni learnt some basics abt networking, got into trading futures and crypto under my fatherโ€™s name & learned that skill until perfection

But how did u build up/ maintain that connection though?

Cus I always seem to struggle that part

I loathe this advice whenever I hear it. You're probably correct about this being a good way to network, but it seems so cringe imo.

Maybe it's just bcuz I'm a high inhib social anxiety cel, but joining a club feels like this to me:

IMO best to fret about it, time passes really quickly
