Wondering if i should not train my masseters if they are higher set.

it will give u like a bloated appearance as opposed to a wide jaw

i dont know if they are higher set to be honest i felt both of my fingers on the higher side of the masseter (near cheekbone) and the lower side when i clenched gently the lower side appeared stronger but the higher side still contracted a little as if the lower side was dominant. Does this change anything?

don't only do that if you have low set masseurs or you will look like a bloated bellend
