i have the most subhuman underbite case

I went to an orthodontist and did a cephalometric scan.
Turns out I have a 9mm underbite…
But he told me I DON’T need surgery, only braces , He said my maxilla projection is good .
Can braces alone really fix something like this?
Or should I definitely consult another orthodontist?

always get a second opinion. A 9mm underbite seems kinda serious and noticable. You probally have deep labiomental folds

Overstate the fuck out of the problems it caused you with for example breathing sleep etc more likely to do sum then cos they should if it’s 9mm
