I haven't been to the dentist since 2018.

But now I feel toothache. I should probably go now. But it's very expensive and I'm a poorcel.

Absolutely. Go. I hadn’t gone since 2011. I’ve gotten 3 root canals in a span of 6 weeks since early April.

Wow, that's even longer. The thing is, only now I start to feel the pain in my molars teeth/wisdom teeth.

I'm scared my teeth will become loose, but everything is still strongly intact.

How is your teeth and pain now?

Yeah, I hadn’t gone in 15 years but I’m glad I went. I have decided to stop eating candy since it was eating candy that brought me to this place. Where exactly are you feeling the pain? My root canals were performed on an upper molars. I went to an endodontist who did a great job. I have my follow-up appointment in July. My pain was 11/10, I genuinely lost the will to live. The pain was constant, I could feel it at all times. It got worse when I would eat or drink something, and I also would have a hard time falling asleep due to the throbbing pain. I also would wake up in the middle of the night because of the pain. The pain and tooth is much better compared to then, but I still feel it sometimes like right now, though not as bad. I might get opioids once the pain persists. Definitely visit a dentist. I’m really glad I did. Your situation is possibly reversible, mine wasn’t. If you’re lucky, you just need some fillings.

Candy can indeed fuck up your teeth. I started feeling pain too after eating candy (I ate mint candy because I was sick last month) Since then my upper right molar hurts. In 2018 I needed 8 fillers and tooth stone removal.

Holy shit dude. Did the treatment hurt at the moment? Or is it pain afterwards like now? It must be a nightmare while eating, or eating at one side for a long time.

That’s why I’ve decided to cut it off. You should cut it off as well. Looks like our story is similar, pain starting because of candy. I would place candy between my molars (both upper and lower) and just chew on that the entire time. I would do that with entire packs of candies so that’s why it got so bad.

The treatment was mostly fine, but sometimes you’d feel pain but it wasn’t as bad as the pain that brought me there in the first place. And yes, it’s an absolute nightmare. You have to be very careful.

I was given a stronger filling earlier, which is temporary, but I can already feel some pain as of today, just not as bad as before. I will have to soldier on for 5 weeks. Definitely go visit your dentist as soon as possible. Since I hadn’t gone in many years, I was supposed to have an intake interview first before treatment, but I got really lucky at both clinics!

I'm not a fan of candy anyways, I'd rather eat chocolate or cookies. It was coincidence because I was sick at the time and I need something for my throat (okay, that sounded wild and sus)

I hope your treatments goes well and wish you a speedy recovery from the pain (y)
