I honestly don't think hypergamy is as bad as people make it out to be.

I understand that women do tend to choose men who are slightly above them in terms of attractiveness or overall value. However, when I walk down the street, I mostly see couples who seem to be well matched in terms of looks.
At the same time, I've almost never seen a woman who is objectively a 3/10 dating a man who is a 6/10 or higher. The only place where I consistently notice what people call hypergamy is on dating apps. So I don't think it's actually as widespread or as destructive as many people claim.

I never said hypergamy doesn't exist. I just think it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. My opinion is based on my own personal experience and the region where I live. If you think my logic is "caveman logic," then I assume you're pretty successful yourself if you can criticize me that harshly. I'm not saying you're wrong-maybe hypergamy really is a huge problem in some places. But again, my own experience tells me otherwise.
