It’s my second day on the cut, my carbs are relatively the same and I’ve eaten a decent amount today. What went wrong? I literally had no energy in the gym and usually I’m fired up feeling like David goggins but today I just couldn’t do it. Is this a mental thing/day off or is my body adjusting to not eating as much food but I’m only eating 400 calorie deficit

Don't go when you feel like that.

I've been in basically the same same place for about 3 years. there are some days when I can Go as hard as I used to, but basically out of no where one day I started getting really tired immediately upon starting my workout, yawning and everything. No motivation. I bet its not carbs, it's probably micronutrients for you, and I noticed for me just having an energy drink as pre workout does not do anything for me while a real pre workout fuels me like I used to be most of the time. A calorie deficit in itself usually doesn't have too strong of an impact on your energy, at least until you are a low bf% so I wouldn't stress that. just make sure you're sleeping and eating right, and maybe use a pre workout and it might get better

If you have a fixed scedule then go through, motivation is cope, pop a stim pre workout and go in the gym

Insane cope. You sit your ass at that gym and push through. Even if you need to take a 2 mins of rest after every rep. You power through. You just wasted time for no reason and now you spiked your cortisol thinking about it
