People make fun of greys (such as myself) for saying this, I personally don’t say it because I find it repetitive and it’s mostly iqlets that do, but the saying actually means something. I feel like the phrase is showing how they wanted to innocently improve themselves, but going into the rabbit hole of self-improvement and lookism. It shows how low the barrier of entry is, you don’t even need to seek out lookism but can find it through something as mundane as wanting a six pack. And allegedly more than 45 million people annually search for how to get abs, showing how many people can cross over to lookism and never even searched out for it. And this is one search, imagine how many more there are. This can lead to tons of problems through the new people in this community/forum whatever, being stupid and not doing any research before performing risky procedures or practices that have known side effects. Most of which are preventable through research and utilizing it.

First post lmk how I did, I might be just saying common sense but idc

nah good analysis

it does sound corny from time to time but the internal meaning still stands

good point on how someone can fall into the rabbit hole of lookism solely based off something like a video “how to get abs in 5 minutes” which EVERYONE has watched at least once as a kid

that was the start of the rabbit hole and we had no idea

i’d much rather be exposed to lookism then be naive to it

double edged sword but being naive to it is far worse
