I know more about skincare than any of you here.

What’s ur skincare?
I've been applying all this routine (now it a little bit changed but it doesnt matter) from the January 2024 (so now it's one year of it). I only applied it rarely in the summer but used spf.

I saw good results after first six month

Sun will return you to genetic baseline.
Only if you spend all your time out in the sun during summer perhaps.

But if it’s just the sun that’ll cause it then can’t I just prevent/maintain via sunscreen?

A girl recently saw my acne and recommended me to try an exfoliator from Il Makiage, saying it would clear my acne. After research, I'm guessing she meant a product called "power polish". Do you think this could actually help clear cystic acne? It's $65 so I'm hesitant to buy on the recommendation of a stranger. She had very clear skin though.

Reference information if you need any: I have cystic acne, currently using vit c serum + moisturizer + sunscreen in the morning, trenitoin + moisturizer + selective clindamycin at night, after washing with cerave cleanser beforehand each time. Salicylic acid at night on my forehead and nose, where I get small blackheads (too small for other people to notice), blackheads seem to remain. Acne getting better since I started taking ~3-5 g of vitamin b5 a day throughout the day, but still persists. I have gotten clear skin before via oral doxycycline but stopped because ik antibiotics is an impermanent solution.

How to make simple tranexamic acid serum and kojic acid serum

Wayyyy too much to start off with. Ditch the pills (terrible, one day I’ll make a thread on them) and ditch the benzoyl peroxide, and just do tretinoin once every two days. Using all at once will make ur skin dryer than @Orc s pussy.
Yeah my skin goes to dry and lips also, so say no for pills? tetracycline

Niacinimide is known to dry out your skin during certain weather/climates. Check to see if any of your products have that.

The thing is sunscreen isn't 100% fool proof. If your skin us whiter than usual, then the skin tries harder to get it back to baseline. Not to mention the hydroquinone inhibits melanotase, so when you get off of it completely then you'll likely rebound

Fuck no, cystic acne is the worst type, and exfoliating will likely make it worse. If you've been using tretinoin right, didn't break ur skin barrier, and you still have acne, its time to hop on accutane

I wouldn't recommend it. Even if you do it step by step, you can have areas of the cream without any and areas with too much. Just use one from the store.

and i know all there is u need to know: skincare is gay psyop

Yes, say no to them. Antibiotics rape you in long term, and bp + Trey to start off with will destroy your skin barrirr.

Best ingredients and products to lighten hyperpigmentation while being on accutane?

also when I apply tret and peroxide, my skin gets soo red like an inflaamation, i stopped because of that, is that normal?

Bhai I have very oily skin and my current routine has oil cleanser, cleanser, tea tree ampoule, aloe vera moisturizer, and sunscreen. My acne is persistent but last year I start developing it on my cheeks as opposed to having it only on my forehead and chin. Should I just hop on Brainlabz's Isotretnoin? I'm starting to give up clearing my skin through skincare and dieting.
Nigga just buy acnetrent it's same but cheaper and in your every store.

How to fix uneven skin tone? And how to treat blackhead scars and pores
