Everytime I look at some social media post/ platform
Im always wondering if the same thing Im looking at right now, was watched by a already deceased person
Whether its the same song, same website
Just gives me such a weird feeling
Take a random song for example, Titanium by Sia
The same masterpiece Im listening to. So did 300m people who have died since then
Imagine 300m people laying on the ground, Its impossible to imagine
And each one of them had listened to it, possibly enjoyed it and had their own life stories
And all had their own Destinies, if its getting into a car crash.
Dismembered and skinned alive by Human traffickers.
Burned alive
And all of these different kinds of people shared this one trait
Same goes for songs like Roar by Katy Perry
Such a happy song reminding of childhood
But has the same outcome
I honestly cant imagine beeing in the artists shoes, knowing hundreds of millions of people don't exist and vanished who enjoyed your own work.
And each environment has their own sorts of stories
Kiss me Thru the phone by soulja boy
Some mf who enjoyed music and had this american lifestyle listening to this downloaded on his mp3 player
Suddenly one day he gets into a Club, gets into an argument with someone and boom shot to his head
The dude who once enjoyed this work is now gone, forever
And all of these deceased people left their playlists behind, their diaries
That last online activity: Last seen 16 years ago
Imagining you could go back in time and seeing them online and beeing able to get into contact with them as your last opportunity
Some dude on org roped and is and never will be with us anymore but he also knew the memes, the mods. Some users he followed
And you look into your following list, seeing the dead soul who still is in your connections
If its Facebook whatever, who once a long time ago clicked follow on your profile.
Their last Selfie
It just gives me such an eerie feeling
But in the end we will all end up at the same spot
