same, it’s like grinding on a video game, i love the delayed gratification, once i get the treasure it’s done tho

for example i used to like this girl 2 years ago (i was ugly as fuck ngl), she didn’t even look my way, 1 year goes by, she still doesn’t give half a fuck about me, april 2025 comes around and i discover real looksmaxing (i was around during the 2023 looksmaxing trend but all i did was ice my face, mew and buy a couple jpg colognes rofl), i start going to the gym 6 times a week, tracking my calories, eating healthy (basically gymcelling), still not enough, now it’s may and she still doesn’t seem interested in me…
so i say fuck it, summer break comes around, i unfollow her everywhere and go all in with this looksmaxing shit, i buy my first peptides, i buy minoxidil, the ordinary serums, aqualyx and a bunch of other bullshit, it seems like it’s working, i start to look better, now it’s september 2025, i get added to a gc with her and one of her friends (female friend), they start asking me what i was up to etc. so we start talking, a few months go by, it’s november now and we see each other irl for the first time in months, long story short i think she started liking me (i’m speaking in the past cause i’m ghosting her rn lol, i’ll decide if i wanna keep entertaining ts or not, thread title is spot on)
