I was reading online about the theory of Ruin Value.

Shit opened my eyes. It made me want to become an architect. The aesthetic value of ruins is vital to a civilization’s culture and ideology. Hitler tried to do the same thing with Nazi Germany so that years later, people of the new day would have some type of timeless ruins to remember them by.
