At my old job every time a customer called I said our company is shit and they should go to the competitors instead.
One time I got caught though because the guy on the other line said “yeah I get it bud, I was just trying to keep it within the company because I am a manager in training at a new location” and I got tongue tied and went back on my word and said the competitors are ass and he’s gotta do business with us and he laughed because he knew I was full of shit
