I look younger than I actually am

I am 18 but some people I met told me they were surprised that I am 18 and I looked like 15. It’s not like I look like I have down syndrome, I just don’t have a full beard, only a patchy teenager goatee, and I always clean shave it because it looks retarded. Any suggestions?
