I started 2 months ago with gym and since then i am noticing a lot of hair loss after shower. I wanna stop gymceling, idk why i would lose soo much hair right after starting with gym.

Am i just delusional or are my temples rly receding? The pic above is my natural hairline, always had the same hairline since childhood. But now i think the temples is getting bigger. Do you see big differences between the pic above and the pic below? I dont know if it looks receded because my hair is much longer in the pic below than in the pic above ...

Should i hop on fin?

What supplements are you taking?

If you're on Creatine, get off of it. I'd also hop on Finasteride.

You're going to be fine. Working out will give you way more benefits than the negatives of Finasteride, even if we can be sure that working out has caused the hair loss

That's pretty severe for such a short time frame.

mann i am feeling so bad rn, i would never thought id go bald. Arghh
Its actually quite shocking how quickly you lost all that hair, even im worried about myself now, you went from norwood 0.5 to 1.5 in 2 months!

:oops::oops::oops:

So what would you do if you were in my position? :(

Step by step

Excessive shampooing will cause hair loss. Your body produces natural oils to keep your hair healthy and you are stripping them away. It could be for that reason, another reason, or a combination. Stress could be one of them.

Step by step
If i were taking creatine, i would stop, Immediately!
Then i would go to a hair specialist(trichologist) tomorrow and show him these pics.
Then i would follow his advice, he will most likely put you on fin and minoxidil.
Its still early, but you have to take action NOW, before its too late, another month and you could be norwood 2+.

Go on monday, as long as you take action now, you will be good, don't let this get any worse.

I have unfortunate news for you. This looks like the beginning of male pattern baldness (MPB). If the cause was stress or other issues then you would have most likely noticed hair shedding, opposed to recession in the temple/s. This is what differentiates androgenetic male pattern baldness from other causes of hair loss (in most cases).

Now don't assume things right away. It could also be due to excessive shampooing and/or stress. Again, such issues would more likely result in hair shedding, as opposed to hairline recession. This is what's concerning here.

I highly recommend booking an appointment asap and discussing your options with either a qualified dermatologist or trichologist. They have certain unique medical instruments at their disposal to evaluate the scalp and ability detect potential hair miniaturization/recession of the hairline.

Also, Finasteride/Dutasteride and/or Minoxidil are highly effective if taken early and the side effects are highly exaggerated. They do exist but the severe ones aren't experienced by the majority.

I wish you luck

Thats what i also think now. Just asked my bald cousin who is kinda acknowledged and he said that it is because my hair is longer anf it gives the illusion of receding hair.

No i dont have a history of mbp and would have never expected that since my dad and my grandfathers didnt go bald.

I will consult a dermatologist

Do you think that my long hair gives the illusion of receding hairline?
