I don't think it is just exclusive to South Asians tbh. Even East Asians and Chinese do this. Cutting lines in drive thrus, eating food for homeless from the food bank. They come from countries where there is swim up or drown down type fierce competition environment. Indians' have stinky houses too but it's less from the food, it's from the scents that you have to burn, I forgot the term.. but the smell is awful IMO, but they think it smells good. Well BO only be tackled if you have $. Dutch people use products to stop sweating, so they don't really smell because they mask it using chemicals. I just found out recently. I thought it was because of the cold climate that they don't stink, but it's really because they shower every few days (some shower everyday) and use hygiene products like those to tackle BO. The only time I really smelled BO (aside from lockers in high school) off of a person was this middle-aged, mentally disturbed Spanish guy, you could smell it if you sat near. It was awful but nobody told him he stinks because of we all acknowledge he's mentally disturbed (can still socialize and whatnot but something's still off).
You're out there spending $400 on perfumes and I spend $400 on Japanese candy. HGF at this. You definitely spend the money in a wiser fashion. And cool, expensive perfumes tend to be better, IMO. They last longer, too. But surprisingly, cheap perfumes can smell really good, too. Have you tried uhh... Bleu de Chanel? It's a bit expensive but it's definitely worth it.
