i just realized the woman in my family on my dad side are 5’7 and the men on my mom side are 5’7-5’9 on average

Same here my dad is 5’9 and my mom is like 5’4 I’m 6ft and hopefully counting I do have ancestry that comes from Spain might also have something to do with it
