Find a penpal in that language and talk to them everyday.
Start with text chats, then move onto video calls when you're both confident enough.

anki, get the pass/fail addon and memory map, start with a deck with the most basic and common vocab (500-1000 words). pick one that comes with example sentences for the word

after memorizing enough to start understanding the example sentences, ignore the word on the vocab carbs and start memorizing the sentences

then, start consuming native media (youtube, audiobooks, tv shows, books, etc) and take sentences from it to add to your anki decks. ideally sentences you understand 50-75%, and then practice until they're 100%. rinse and repeat with immersion and sentence mining working your way up in complexity of material consumed

don't spend any time studying vocabulary (aside from the initial phase)
don't spend any time studying grammar. complete waste of time. why learn complex conjugation and declension rules to manually generate a sentence when you can memorize sentence patterns and sentences actual natives use in 1/10th of the time? natives don't go "ok, third person, plural verb, in past tense, need to modify the ending to -ede" they just know the word in that context. utterly useless

fastest way to learn a language btw

Busuu used to be good, now it has some ai slop but it’s still pretty good.

You should learn some linguistics, learn the international phonetic alphabet, etc.
