I need Accutane help and tips

Hey just go my dermatologist to prescribe accutane. Anything I should know that’s not super obvious like stay moisturized, should I take anything with it ?

Take it with fat, I use it with a tablespoon of peanut butter for ease

^ don't fuck this up, fat is needed for optimal absorption unless you get the version that comes with fat. I'm on my second course of Accutane because my body didn't reach the breakpoints due to improper absorption

Your doctor will keep track of it. If you're using an online derm, they'll also have a progress tracker. Here's my for reference, on my 2nd course.

I have to follow with a doctor or the online derm is enough for tracking? I was planning just to buy it from indiamart and use like 40 mg for 4-6 months until my skin looks good.

tell them you already tried antibiotics then they shall prescribe it almost 100%

why is your minimum target 150-220? isnt it 120-150 usually? im on my second course im going for 150 last time i finished around 135

why is your minimum target 150-220? isnt it 120-150 usually? im on my second course im going for 150 last time i finished around 135

height/weight play a factor, weird though. I'm shorter than you, not 6'3

maybe severity of acne? or just different doctor's opinion on dosages

target cumulative is the same for everyone between 120-150mg/kg? Ik sometimes they go up to 220 but thats extreme cases
