I need to stop laughing at serious situations - short storytime

In class, my teacher was talking about how her grandfather committed suicide at a very young age by jumping off a building. As soon as she said this, I had to put my head on the desk and bite my tongue as hard as possible so I could contain my laugh. This went on for the next 3-5 minutes, which is a long time when you think about it.

The worst part is, I'm pretty sure everyone in the class noticed what was going on. And I was the only person who was laughing. I obviously didn't want to laugh, and it's not like I had friends with me that made me laugh. How the fuck do you guys control your laughs? Is this an ND trait?

I couldn't help but to burst out laughing in the middle of his poem. The english teacher sent me out of the classroom and she threatened to call my parents (thank god that didn't happen).

This story might even deserve it's own thread tbh

I remember last term I was in math class and I couldn't stop thinking of some shit that made me cage. I don't even remember what it was but I was fighting with my whole fucking life to not burst out laughing.

the teacher also already hated me since I "interrupted" her class often (just me having small talk with my friend while working). so for a few minutes I was holding in my laugh before for a second I let out a "AHHAAAA" and istg the whole class looked at me before I had to lock in again.

im really surprised she didn't send me out since she already despised me and also looked pissed asf.
