I just cant imagine a situation where someone that just rots but has the slightest bit of potential would have their parents sit idly by and watch them waste their life away... I'm not holding them as the main culprit for how I turned out but that's terrible parenting

Isolation from young age does this. If nobody helps you as a kid/teenager what are you supposed to do? Most parents are slow life rotters or low IQ like you can’t listen to them
