I scored an 8.5/10 on the national exam despite philosophy being a two-year subject. I thought that would translate into a B+, but it’s actually an A+.
What makes it even more remarkable is that it was a two-year subject that I took in one year only, so I was already way behind.
It’s no surprise my first grade was a 4/10, or an F; because I had no idea what was expected of me. However, I understood what I did wrong and learned from that; my second and third grades were 7/10, or B+. Then I aced the final exam, which was the national exam.
I’m just looking at this chart that converts Dutch grades into American grades, hence this thread.
